Ladies back to Winning ways !

At last a bright and sunny afternoon greeted the Ilminster Ladies at Bishops Lydeard. Ilminster started well keeping good possession and creating plenty of chances. Alice Charlton opened the scoring latching onto a good through ball to slot past the oncoming keeper.n Ilminster then added a second and a third through again Charlton and returnee Jenny Frost to go in 3-0 up at the break.

The second half saw Ilminster take their foot off the gas allowing Lydeard to attack and grab a goal back before Ilminster went on to score 2 more goals through Emma Jennings a 3rd for Charlton. Ilminster now set their sights on the forthcoming Semi Final this sunday away to Nailsea Ladies in the Somerset County Junior Cup.
