Stuart Lee elected new Chairman of ITFC at special committee meeting on Tuesday 2nd November 2016

On Tuesday 22nd November 2016, a special committee meeting was held at The Shrubbery Hotel to decide the new Chairman following the recent resignation of Darren Manley.

The meeting was chaired by Club President Clive Moore who began by thanking Darren for all of his work in helping to get the club into the excellent position we currently find ourselves.

The first item on the agenda was the election of the new Chairman, Andy Fish read out the nominations of which Stuart Lee was the only one, he was then proposed by Dan Haines and seconded by Craig Stuckey, this then went to vote and Stuart was elected unanimously.

Stuarts election to Chairman left a vacancy for a new Vice Chairman, again there was only one nomination and this was ex-Vice Chairman Dan Haines, Dan was proposed by Stuart Lee and seconded by Matt Roswell, this again went to vote and Dan was also elected unanimously.

Both new officers were pleased to have received the support of the committee and look forward to representing the club to the best of their ability as we move forward.

These are exciting times for ITFC with the use of the Archie Gooch Pavilion and the ongoing works to improve the football facilities.

If anyone is interested in joining the committee, please do not hesitate to contact an existing committee member who will be please to talk you through the joining process.
