We’re thrilled to share that Ben from Ben Russell Salon and Shell from Shell Lawrence Photography, already invaluable supporters of Ilminster Town Football Club, are taking their commitment to the next level! On July 4th, they’ll tackle a challenging 50K run from Ham Hill to Lyme Regis, all to raise funds for our beloved club! ⚽?‍♂️?‍♀️

The Challenge
- Distance: 32 miles
- Elevation: Over 3,500ft of climbing! ?

About Ben:
As an experienced runner, Ben has impressed us all with his speed and commitment. For those who've followed his journey, you know he’s ready to take on this tough challenge. But don’t be fooled—this route is no easy feat!

About Shell:
Shell may not be as fast, but her determination is inspiring! This challenge will take her most of the day, and she plans to invite some of the players to join her for sections of the route, especially the daunting hill up Lamberts Castle. ?

Their Impact:
Ben and Shell have been significant parts of our club, consistently supporting us in various ways. Their dedication is truly appreciated, and this new challenge shows just how much they care about our community.

Training Updates:
Both are already hard at work training, and they’ll keep us updated on their progress over the next 5 months & leading up to the big day.

We’re looking for volunteers, especially our football players, to join Shell along the route and help her tackle this challenge! If you think you’re up for it, tag someone who should join in on the fun! Whether its 1k or 10k Shell will really appreciate the company and support.
