Wrington & Redhill 0 - 0 Ilminster Town Firsts

Ilminster town travelled to Wrington & Redhill down the busy M5 motorway and arrived 30 mins before kick off due to heavy traffic, the home side were out of the blocks quickly and wouldn't allow the blues a foot hold in the game and it was Wrington that had the first chance in which Chris May pulled off a stunning save, the home side continued to press and missed a one on one chance with the home striker putting his shot wide.

For Ilminster the best chance of the first half fell to Jake Woodard who's free header went wide of the target,  Lee Sweet also made in roads with a strong run put shot off target .

A change of formation at half time by the blues, and a couple of chances were created through Lee Sweet and the fit again Taylor Jefferson who came off the bench, both players had shots that went just wide.

70 minutes into the game the home side had a chance to score from the spot after uncertainty by Luke Paul ended with Chris May bringing down a home player inside the box, Chris May made up for his mistake by saving the resulting penalty, the game petered out to a draw in which the blues would be the happier of the teams as they couldn't quite get going.
