A goal a piece from Renato Silva and a second half strike from Kamil Wilk was enough to earn all 3 points on a day where Ilminster traveled to Exeter with a bare XI and keeper Jake Hardimen came off injured resulting in the boys in blue playing with 10 men for much of the second half with midfielder Steve Rodber brave enough to take the gloves.
K&M Polonia for large parts of the game pushed Ilminster back but certainly one of the best battling and resilient performances of the season was enough to secure the win.
Man of the Match was given to David Pereira who had his best game to date for the boys in the blue.
Ilminster are next in action next Saturday as they travel to Cheriton Fitzpaine.
